One of the four components of the traditional tea set. Tea drinkers emptied their unwanted, cold tea into the slop bowl before refilling their cups with fresh, hot tea.
How People Actually Use It
A fast-casual meal served in a single container consisting of various individual ingredients (usually mixed greens, grains, proteins, and sauces) meant to be mixed up to create something that looks like vomit. Typically eaten by white-collar employees during their lunch breaks. Examples of restaurants that serve slop bowls: Cava, Chipotle, Sweetgreen, and others
